INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGER - London - £dependent on experience plus benefits plus great working environment
You will have overall responsibility for policy relating to all aspects of Information Security, held electronically or otherwise, and access control within our client. Liaison with and support for IT, Internal and External Auditors, and other internal data holders making recommendations concerning security techniques (including network and web security architecture) and providing advice and guidance. Security reviewing of IT (systems and physical), Maintain a working knowledge of current Information Security products and services in the business and on the market. Responsible for benchmarking standards (internal and external) with respect to Information. Monitor, advise and respond appropriately to legislative, community and technical developments (e.g. ISO17799, Data Protection Act, Computer Misuse Act and Copyright and Trade Marks Acts). Information asset inventory and monitoring of all products and services with a bearing on Information Security. Make recommendations to ensure our clients data and usage falls within the Data Protection Act. You must understand best practice and best practicable options for Information Security within our client. Project planning experience. Experience with ISO17799 or equivalent useful. Experience of SAP and networks useful. Patience and resilience. Analysis. Communications and negotiation skills.Programming or networking experience and Report writing.
